Regarding preparation, preparing for a client meeting is very similar to preparing for a speech or TV interview. You need to be hyper-focused on who your audience is, what their needs are and what YOU want their takeaway to be.
As for listening, that's where sales is often won and lost. You need to be able to process your client's concerns and objections and ask the right follow-up questions to work towards a common goal. You must be flexible in your approach and be able to make adjustments on the fly.
And as for your speaking, Dave can help you be more concise and direct. He'll teach you speak with empathy, and to connect with the other person. He'll teach you how to get rid of verbal crutches and how to use vocal inflection and pitch to your advantage.
If your company is based in South Florida Dave will conduct the sessions in person. If you're based outside the region, Dave can travel to your company or he can conduct the sessions via Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp, etc.
